The education in Canada is much like the United States. Teachers get paid decent money. The average that a teacher gets paid a year in Canada in about $71,000. It increases the more experience you have. To be a teacher you have to be good with kids and be able to make lesson plans. You should at least have a Bachelor of Education, be able to grade homework and projects that you assign. The schools there are pretty casual, not all schools require their students to wear uniforms like Canada’s public schools. If you go to a private school or a Catholic school students may be required to wear uniforms to school. Canadian students tend to excel in math and science.

Bullying is an issue. They have this program called The Canadian Safe Schools Network. Canada is thought to have the highest bullying rates in the world, but they have programs that they are trying to put in schools to help with that. Bullying can be more of a problem in some schools than others. Sometimes it depends on the authority in the schools.
